The Honda BF9.9 Outboard Motor offers incredible torque, performance and versatility on the water. The BF9.9 – along with its short, long and extra-long shaft lengths – gives you plenty of choice for your fishing boat, sailboat or as a kicker for larger fishing boats. - Twin cylinder, in-line, OHC design powerhead.
- Pendulum-motion mounting system for the powerhead helps absorb the vibration, including longitudinal vibration.
- Fully remote-controlled model available, complete with control box and steering tube for a clean installation.
- Electronically controlled monitoring system protects the engine components from over-revving, low engine-oil pressure and overheating.
- Power tilt available (Model LRTC). Conveniently tilts the engine out of the water for easy lift-off and transport.
- Available with Power Thrust design (BFP9.9), the combination of the 2.33:1 gear ratio and the 254 mm x 165 mm (10 in. x 6 1/2 in.) Power Thrust four-blade propeller creates 60% more thrust in reverse and 15% more in forward. The result is improved manoeuvrability and performance.
- All electric-start models are fitted with a highoutput charging system that will deliver 2 amps at 1,000 RPM and an amazing 12 amps at only 3,000 RPM to help keep your electronics working and batteries charged. Manual-start models have 6 amps.
- Standard 15 in., 20 in. and 25 in. shaft lengths allow for a wider range of boat applications.
- A 12.5-litre fuel tank, fuel hose and aluminum propeller are included as standard equipment.
